I haven't blogged is soooooooo long! I apologise - have been crazy busy as thriftette has had some BIG changes recently which will be announced soon.  So just been sorting all of that out and throwing myself into our new routine.  Exciting!  Anyway, the sun was actually out today - yay!  Can you believe it's taken till May to become bearable to wear shorts minus the tights?!  Today was the first outing for these shorts.  I got them off ebay months ago and i love the neon paisley pattern.  Brightens up even my trusty Iron Maiden tee.  I don't know why i look so pissed off in these photos as today was a really great day so please ignore my sombre face.  I will be back soon and more regularly from now on i promise <3

So right now i want to be at coachillin' at Coachella!  I wish i could afford to get over there sometime!  Plus, i heard Leo DiCaprio was there - a girl can dream!  Unfortunately, i'm stuck in gloomy Manchester with the rain and suprisingly warm(er) weather.  The croissant i'm currently eating will most probably be the highlight of my day.  Anyway, enough moaning.  How amazing is this crochet top from Primark?! I love it - it's got really long sleeves too which i adore.  Teamed with my fedora and heavily frayed shorts it makes the perfect outfit.  I will definately be bringing this outfit back for summer, minus the thick black tights - eurghh!  Here's to hoping for a good summer!

I haven't posted in a while as i have been at the shop alot and Lucie (my blog "photographer") has been in France and i can bever be bothered to get out the tripod before work.  Too much effort for me in the morning!  I picked up this top and shorts from H&M the other week and they were both like £12.99! Bargain!  H&M are upping their game recently, as are Primark.  So make sure you go heck out their new stuff as it will get you all excited for summer!

So last night we (Thriftette) hosted an event for the launch of Waiste's new collection which we will now be stocking in store.  It is such a great collection and i want/need everything in it!  Sara (the designer) is such a talented girl and so so lovely!  It's amazing to be working with her brand and great to meet a like-minded girl i get along with.  I will get posting some photos of the stuff soon but all the pictures are on our Thriftette facebook page.

I have been living in this tee for far too long but i just love it! These jeans are so comfy too and i love rips in jeans at the minute.  I thought i'd pair them with these boots which i adore!  The heel is all black and glittery and they fit so snug around the ankles.  Perfection in a boot!  I actually got them from my mum for christmas and have worn them alot but i don't think i have blogged them before.  Maybe i have, but here they are in all their glittering glory!

Primark Jewellery Haul

I'm not a fan of Primark as i think the clothes, as cheap as they are, lose their shape after one wash.  I also find that i tend to buy crap that i would never normally buy because of the cheap price tag.  I know there's loads of people who love it, but it just isn't my thing.  It's not that i'm being a 'snob', i just hate the crowds and clothes strewn everywhere (normally in the wrong place) and even when i do see something i like, it's not in my size. 

I decided to pop in after reading somewhere (i think it was fashion fade?) that the jewellery was really good in Primark recently.  And man did i find some good shit!  I was surprised to see how good it all was!  It's better than what i have seen in most other stores recently so i let myself go a bit crazy, although at these prices you can't exactly go mental.  Always a plus!

If anyone is about then they should go check it all out and grab some bargains.  The silver body chain is great for wearing over simple tops and they hand chains are just amazing.  And the ivory and turquoise chest plate necklace is a bargain considering you would pay ten times the price for one in Topshop.
